Enhancing Patient Care
Patients are at the heart of everything we do at the Keck Medical Center of USC. Our quest is to become an even stronger national leader in delivering innovative, compassionate care for the patients and families we serve. Over 500 faculty physicians of the Keck School of Medicine of USC provide care at the USC Health Sciences campus and at satellite locations in greater Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills. Our faculty members also staff Children's Hospital Los Angeles, one of the world’s leading facilities for pediatric clinical care, research, and training. For more than 100 years, they have cared for patients and trained residents through a partnership with the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.
The Keck Medical Center of USC offers more than 400 private beds on the Health Sciences campus and at sites in the community. The faculty physicians of the Keck School of Medicine of USC include physicians internationally known for their leadership in cancer, cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, gynecology, neurology and neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pulmonology, transplant surgery, urology, and more. Their expertise attracts patients from around the world who travel to USC to receive the very best health care available.
In order to accelerate our progress and expand our patient care resources, endowed and current-use funds are needed. These funds can support any area of interest—and many donors make gifts to express gratitude to doctors or to honor a family member.
Keck Medicine of USC is also planning significant new patient care facilities. The USC Center for Advanced Medicine will be a state-of-the-art outpatient facility designed to create a multidisciplinary environment for integrated, patient-focused care and collaboration among various health professions. It will house the ambulatory activities of the USC Norris Cancer Hospital, USC Cardiovascular Thoracic Institute, Institute of Urology, a new USC Center for Digestive Diseases, a new ambulatory surgery center, and facilities for radiation oncology.
Together, these funds and facilities will support the work of our physicians and specialists and will assure our patients have access to the most advanced care, treatments, and cures.
