The Keck Medicine Initiative is a multi-year effort that will raise significant funds to benefit all aspects

of USC’s medical enterprise.  It is part of the $6 billion Campaign for the University of Southern California,

the biggest fundraising campaign to date in the history of higher education.

The Keck Medicine Initiative is among the most critical priorities of the campaign and it aims to raise

$1.5 billion—25 percent of the overall campaign goal.  The initiative focuses on four priorities within USC’s

academic medical center:

  • advancing research
  • enriching medical education
  • strengthening infrastructure
  • enhancing patient care.

Keck Medicine of USC comprises:

• the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and

• the Keck Medical Center of USC. The Keck Medical Center includes Keck Hospital of USC, USC Norris Cancer Hospital and USC's faculty physician practice.
